Monthly Shoot Results

Great weather, great turnout and an all in all great shoot. We had 28 shooters for our November shoot. The last shoot of the year went out with a bang. Lots of turkeys today, both prizes and shooters.

There will not be a December shoot. Instead we will have our annual Christmas dinner, awards presentation and meeting on December 11 at 3PM in the Roy Clark Community Building in Linton.

August Shoot

Only 12 shooters showed up. Come on, the weather wasn't that bad.

July Shoot

A little warm but again very nice weather for our July shoot. Maybe too nice, only 19 shooters showed up. But, there were a lot of reentries and spectators.

The next monthly shoot will be August 7.
There will be a fun shoot on July 24^th. This will be a blanket shoot with fun targets. Bring something black powder related of about $10 value to put on the blanket for prizes, every one gets something.

The Midwest Rendezvous will be held at Fort Lamont in Palestine, IL on 6-13 Aug.
The Illinois territorial shoot will be held at the same location on 26-28 Aug.

June Shoot

Finally, very nice weather, except for a few bugs, and a good turn out. We had 26 shooters, some in each category and a lot of reentries.

Guess what? We had a shoot and it rained again! But, 12 people showed up to shoot and we had a good time as usual. The fair weather shooters just don't know what they're missing.

The next shoot is June 12.

The next monthly shoot will be the Spring Primitive Rendezvous on April 16 & 17.

There will be a work day on Saturday March 19^th. Chainsaws and strong backs are needed. I’m sure there will be plenty of lighter work that needs to be done also.

The day after the work day, on Sunday the 20^th there will be a fun shoot. This will be a blanket shoot and everyone wins something.
